Like doughnuts? Like getting things for free? Krispy Kreme is running a promotion called the "Day of the Dozens" today for customers to receive a free dozen doughnuts with the purchase of a dozen.
How does it work? Buy a dozen of the company's glazed doughnuts and you can get a free dozen with a coupon.
And just because these doughnuts don't cost anything today, doesn't mean they are guilt free. One original glazed is 190 calories. So you do the math before consuming too many.
Krispy Kreme, however,reported quarterly sales and profits Tuesday that missed Wall Street's marks. The stock fell 8% Wednesday, according to CNN Money. The news organization reports that it is the second year of earnings shortfalls for Krispy Kreme.
The promotion is good at participating Krispy Kreme U.S. and Canadian locales, with countries including Dominican Republic, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Philippines, Russia, United Kingdom, Taiwan, India, Thailand, Saudi Arabia and Colombia.
