The Nashville star and fiancé welcomed a daughter on Dec. 9, People confirmed. She weighed in at 7 lbs., 14 oz., and was 20 inches long.“We are over the moon and madly in love!” the new parents told the outlet.

Even though ABC could have very easily tried to cover Hayden’s growing baby bump on the third season of Nashville, they decided to write it into her character’s dramatic storyline.Now, her character, Juliette Barnes, is expecting a child on the show with her ex-boyfriend Avery, played by Jonathan Jackson. The story has been heartbreaking to watch, but hopefully the real-life birth of Hayden’s daughter will be much more of a happy occasion!
However, this question now begs to be asked: will Hayden’s real-life daughter appear on Nashville? Only time will tell what the new mom and her daughter decide to do!
